The Collections Account Representative is responsible for working directly with customers and internal departments to recover outstanding balances. This role involves researching, investigating, and resolving payment discrepancies, as well as addressing issues that arise throughout the collection process. The representative plays a key role in ensuring timely resolution while maintaining positive customer relationships. This position reports to the Manager of Collections and is part of the Finance and Accounting Team located in Coralville, Iowa, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Works with clients to collect outstanding debts while ensuring collection targets are met to maintain positive cash flow
- Identifies slow-moving or delinquent accounts and communicates key details to management to support escalation and further follow-up
- Investigates and resolves account issues in a timely and efficient manner
The essential requirements of the job include - High school degree or (equivalent degree) with 2+ years experience
- Experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable or relevant IDT experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in typing.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: - Experience with SAP and Salesforce (CRM) preferred.
