Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Our work depends on Information Security Analyst Senior joining our team toResponsibilities:Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destructionConduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization packageMonitor system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning correctlyEnsure all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible to properly authorized individualsEnsure audit records are collected, reviewed, and documented (to include any anomalies)Attend required technical and security training (e.g., operating system, networking, security management) relative to assigned dutiesExecute the cyber security portion of the self-inspection, to include provide security coordination and review of all system assessment plansIdentify cyber security vulnerabilities and assist with the implementation of the countermeasures for themPrepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systemsPerform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customersWHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED:Technical Training, Certification(s) or DegreeTS/SCI with CI Polygraph3+ years of related experienceIAT Level I2, IAT Level II2, or IAT Level III (prefer Security+ or CISSP)Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) per DoW 8140 requirements.Travel: <25%GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: 401K with company match Comprehensive health and wellness packages Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications Cutting-edge technology you can learn from Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays OWN YOUR OPPORTUNITYExplore a career in cyber at GDIT and youll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your focus on defending and protecting what matters. #GDITPriority
