Never one to be trusted, Greene, like Haskell, misleads his audience with conniving schemes. As Greene begins spending his ill-gotten gains to buy a U.S. Senate seat, Floridians are learning how he pioneered uncovered credit default swaps that sped up the market collapse, led to the credit crunch, and devastated the housing market.
The video narrator states, "Greene saying he was only protecting himself is like Eddie Haskell saying he's coming over to take Wally to church."
