If you own a small business or want to establish one and need some help with improving it or getting it going, then Tuesday's meeting sponsored by Alabama State University's Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is tailor-made for you! It will have federal experts, lawyers, lenders, and a host of people to share info with you and answer your questions.
Alabama State's SBDC and the U.S. Small Business Administration is joining forces to host a "Better Business Conference," which will take place from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome banquet room (go to the far back of the Acadome - basketball court level - with parking in the rear. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The event will include lunch; with the keynote speaker during the lunch-hour being David Ramp, lender relations specialist at the U.S. Small Business Administration, Alabama District Office. He will share some invaluable tidbits on various programs, grants and information, which is available to help the current small business owner or the soon to be start-up business entrepreneur.
The conference is designed to equip business owners with strategies they need to survive and thrive.
This comprehensive one-day event features peer-to-peer learning, best practices, idea sharing and plenty of take away ideas to improve your business or help you start it up.
