BET RENEWS DIARRA FROM DETROIT FOR A 2ND SEASON (1622 hits)

DIARRA FROM DETROIT quickly became a fan-favorite series that captivated audiences and critics alike with its genre-blending storytelling, razor-sharp wit, and standout performances. In season one, viewers followed the journey of a divorcing schoolteacher (Kilpatrick) who refuses to believe she’s been ghosted by her rebound Tinder date. Her relentless effort into proving she wasn’t ghosted took her down a dangerous rabbit hole and right to a decades-old mystery rooted in the Detroit underworld. 

 

The series is produced by BET Studios and Khalabo Ink Society and executive produced by Diarra Kilpatrick, Kenya Barris, and Miles Orion Feldsott. Production for the new season and a premiere will be announced at a later date.
