Is Craigslist The "Hood" of the Internet?
I recently read about a seller on Craigslist who was selling a diamond ring. He was contacted by a potential buyer and they wanted to see the ring in person. So they make they way to the seller's home and force their way in. They tie up him, his wife, and his children, then is forced to watch as they are robbed and his family members beaten. Then they finally leave but not before putting a bullet in and killing the seller in front of his family.

Is it just me or does it seem that Craigslist is just a haven for all the bad things that happen in the world? Robbing, prostitution, drug busts, and murder - all taking place in one internet space. I don't think at this point that I ever want to post anything on there. Granted stuff like this happens everyday, but it seems that Craigslist is just a "negative energy" magnet for all kinds of things where I would want to own a gun before I even sign up for the site to sell or buy anything. Thoughts?

According to CNN, part of the reason why this man was killed by (someone who was related to him) was because he was selling a family heirloom.
But to answer your question, If you think Craigslist is hood, try the classifieds on Myspace. People pay a huge price for being there, no doubt!!!
