The Historically Black Colleges and Universities Network ("HBCU Network") will be a stand-alone, full-time, 24/7, 365-day a year sports, edutainment and lifestyle network devoted entirely to the four HBCU Conferences (CIAA, MEAC, SIAC, SWAC) and its member and independent universities, launching Fall - 2011
The Historically Black Colleges and Universities will be equity partners in the network. Additionally, HBCUs will directly benefit financially from annual rights fees.
