Thousands Expected for South Central Conference Camp Meeting at Oakwood University
The Oakwood University family is preparing to welcome thousands to the campus for the South Central Conference Camp Meeting, June 10-18.
In the Seventh-day Adventist Church, camp meetings are annual convocations for spiritual renewal and fellowship. Oakwood's campus has been the host camp meeting venue for the South Central Conference since 1946.
This year's camp meeting theme, "At The Cross," will be addressed by guest speakers including Dr. Carlton Byrd, Elder Wintley Phipps, Dr. Renee Mobley, Elder Dan Jackson, Dr. Leslie Pollard, Elder Dana Edmond and Elder Ron Smith.
