Alabama State University Hosts Genealogy Workshop for the Public on Saturday!

Alabama State University’s Library - Levi Watkins Learning Center (LWLC) - in partnership with the ASU National Center for the Study of Civil Rights and African-American Culture, is hosting a Genealogy Workshop on Saturday (July 23) from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m..
One of Alabama's top experts, researchers, authorities and authors on the subject of genealogy, Ms. Frazine Taylor, will lead the day-long workshop in the Archives of the LWLC.
Taylor will identify for those participating in the workshop, essential resources as well as teach a variety of procedures to follow, which will greatly aid and assist those conducting research on their families - with special emphasis on African-American family research.
The registration fee for the workshop is $45 and includes a booklet, snacks and a boxed lunch.
