Fashion show highlights student talent

The Hinds Community College-Utica Campus hosted a fashion show in December at the Bobby G. Cooper Fine Arts Auditorium that featured Hinds students as models and cosmetology and barbering competitors from community colleges across the state. This was the first event of its kind hosted by the campus and showcased the talents of students in Career-Technical Education programs.
Many of the outfits modeled were made by Hinds students in the Fashion Technology program. Others were pieces designed by the program's instructor, Dr. Curtis Gore.
