Alabama State University's Fall Commencement Ceremony is Friday at 3 p.m!

Alabama State University is hosting its 293rd Commencement Exercises this Friday (Dec. 8), at 3 p.m. (the processional begins at 2:45 p.m.) at the ASU Dunn-Oliver Acadome with ASU's 15th President, Dr. Quinton T. Ross, Jr. presiding. This is President Ross's first graduation exercise since he assumed the presidency of the University.

During the Fall Commencement, ASU will have 430 students (322 undergraduates and 108 graduate students) who will be granted degrees.

The keynote speaker for the event is Judge Shanta Owens who is a district judge of the 10th Judicial Circuit of Jefferson County, Ala. Judge Owens is an alumna of the University.
Guests are encouraged to arrive and obtain seating early.
